Veterinary Technician
Location: South Loop, Chicago, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday with weekend availability required
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Job Type: Full‑Time, On‑Site
About Our Hospital
We are a 5‑doctor, AAHA‑accredited, full‑service veterinary hospital located in the South Loop. Our modern, state‑of‑the‑art facility includes:

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years of clinical and surgical experience to join our supportive and collaborative team. The ideal candidate is team‑oriented, detail‑driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Responsibilities
Perform daily technician duties, including:
Venipuncture
Animal restraint
Capturing radiographs
In‑house diagnostic testing
Accurate medical record keeping
Client communication and education
Assist with surgical procedures, including:
Anesthetic induction and intubation
Anesthesia monitoring
Dental prophylaxis (preferred)
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience (required)
Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with AviMark is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
